About Us

Established nearly 30 years ago, Crest is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of building products. Our people are engrained in the industry and have a passion for what they do, and we are always pleased to share this knowledge and experience with our customers. As part of continued success, we are looking to expand our existing sales team. This is a newly created position and requires someone with experience working in sales within a similar trades background. You will not only be serving incoming customers, but also taking orders over the phone and up-selling orders where possible.

Job Description

  • Roofing Experience/technical knowledge
  • Sales admin experience; comfortable inputting orders, quoting orders etc
  • Logistical experience to be able to liaise around realistic delivery time frames
  • Confident with Telephone sales 
  • Ability to up-sell orders and maximise business revenue whilst servicing the customers’ requirements
  • Customer face to face sales within the internal showroom (COVID guidelines are followed)
  • Understanding of Excel spreadsheets
  • To have a professional phone manner
  • Customer friendly, always aiming to deliver high levels of customer service

The Successful Applicant

  • To be experienced within sales to the building industry
  • Have good product knowledge (can be taught company specifics)
  • Customer service experience
  • Sales / Telesales / Business Development experience
  • Team player with own initiative 

What's on Offer

This role offers a competitive salary based on experience. You will also be allocated free on-site parking and steady working hours of Monday to Friday, 8.30-5.00pm. You will have 28 days Holiday (Including bank holidays) as standard and pension in line with company policy.
