Crest Clay G10 S PV Solar Tile

The Crest G10 S PV integrated solar system is a quick and easy-to-fit system that works seamlessly with Crest’s G10 clay flat roof tiles, offering a state-of-the-art solution for the completed roof.

With an increasing focus on sustainable solutions in the built environment, as the UK looks to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions, Crest Building Products offers the G10 Clay PV Integrated solar system. They are engineered to fit quickly and are installed at the same time as the roof, interlocking easily with Crest’s with G10 clay tiles. Crest’s PV Solar Tile solution provides an almost seamless, attractive finish to the completed roof, whilst supplying the homeowner or building owner with an instant clean and efficient energy supply.

A key benefit for installers is that the simple and quick interlocking ‘plug and play’ installation method makes the solar roof tile ideal for both new build and renovation projects. This makes it an ideal and accessible option for roofing contractors who are looking to expand their offering and capitalise on the demand for energy-efficient products.

The G10 S PV solar roof tiles are made from quality materials which have been specifically selected and tested to ensure optimal solar return with highly efficient monocrystalline solar cells.

Both modules come with a product guarantee of 10 years, whilst users will enjoy a performance guarantee of 90% of rated performance for 10 years, and 80% for 25 years, ensuring they can make the most of their installation.

G10 S PV - building-integrated photovoltaics
The G10 S PV module fits with the flat, smooth clay roof tile G10 and has a cover width of 1494mm (6 roof tiles) and a variable cover length between 38.4 - 40.4cm. The module has hanging lugs with which it is hung on the roof battens and screwed as well as a fold on both lateral ends that correspond to the fold of the G10 tile.

With only approx. 5.6m2 roof area per kWp output, it is also one of the very powerful BIPV modules using the latest half-cut cell technology. The slightly higher cover length leads to a slightly higher frame proportion, which is used for an aesthetic notch at the base of the tile. This notch simulates the tile joint and thus underlines the roof tile aesthetics. Furthermore, the base of the tile is toothed to allow for additional air ventilation and cooling.

New G10 S PV Red Solar Tile
Crest Building Products is delighted to supply a new Red PV Solar Tile which matches and interlocks perfectly with our Clay Red Brown Roof Tile. The panels offer all the same qualities as the black modules with beautiful aesthetics to the completed roof.

The seamless solar roof tiles are both a roof covering and electricity generating solution and are virtually invisible with subtle attractive looks. They fit in perfectly with the rooflines, so the solar tiles blend very well with the roof tiles and appear virtually invisible.

The eco-friendly solar panels are engineered to fit quickly and easily with only 3 screws required and a simple tile clip that secures the panel to the roofing structure which prevents the modules from dislodging and becoming airborne during extreme weather conditions.

The solar tiles are made from high-quality materials which have been specially selected and tested for this product. They are also designed to have a lifespan of at least 25 years. The roof tiles themselves come with a 30-year guarantee. MCS Certified.
