Bedale Golf Club Sponsors Day

Crest was delighted to welcome customers and guests to the Annual Sponsors Day at Bedale Golf Club, which took place on Friday 14th August.

Situated in the heart of North Yorkshire, Bedale Golf Club provides a picturesque golfing gateway to the Dales. Opened in 1894, the course winds its way through beautiful 18th-century parkland, formerly a deer park, featuring wide, tree-lined fairways and impressive views towards the Wensleydale Hills.

Crest Marketing Manager Neil Mace invited Mick Roberts, Brick Sales Consultant, John Marshall of CLoSE UK Ltd and Chris Blacker of Sondia Lighting to join Crest for this year's event. Hubert Van Huet from Bedale Golf Club, brother of the late Arnold van Huet, was also there to support the Crest four-ball as they prepared to tee off.

The fantastic weather provided perfect conditions, with the golf course looking superb. Following refreshments and bacon sandwiches, the competition got underway at around 9.00 am, with the four-balls split into two teams and the competition played using the Stableford scoring system.

After an enjoyable day on the course, the event concluded with drinks and sandwiches, a presentation from former Manchester United and England footballer Gary Pallister, who also took part in the competition.

Since retiring from professional football, Gary has become a familiar face in sports media, working as a pundit and football speaker and providing expert analysis for broadcasters including BBC Sport and ITV Sport.

It was a fantastic day of golf with first class hospitality from the Bedale Golf Club team, good company and great weather, and Crest was delighted to be part of another memorable Sponsors Day at Bedale Golf Club.
