Crest help out at DIY SOS Big Build

Crest support DIY SOS team in life changing transformation to the home of an inspiring family from East Yorkshire

Crest were delighted to supply bricks and roofing tiles to the Liversidge family featured in the recent episode of the BBC One series ‘DIY SOS: The Big Build’. We supplied G10 Roofing Tiles and Windsor Red Bricks for the extension of the house which was part of a life changing transformation to the home of the family in Rise, East Yorkshire.

With a low roof pitch to the new extension which ran along two sides of the house, the Crest G10 in natural red was the ideal tile to use. Crest also supplied cloaked verge tiles which gave a great neat finish and a ‘low maintenance’  finish to the roofline. The ‘roofing teams’ and members of the crew on site we’re very impressed with the high quality and overall appearance of the tiles.

The DIY SOS team also asked us if we’d help out with the bricks required for the project so we were only too happy to oblige with the Windsor Smooth Red being the preferred choice to blend in with the existing original brick work.

We’d like to once again wish Liz and Jason all the very the best in their ‘new’ home and hope it is filled with special memories for them and their whole family.
