Ward Homes Yorkshire PV Solar Roofing Installation Training

Crest Building Products arranged a training day for the installation of their PV Roofing Solar System for award-winning builders Ward Homes Yorkshire.

Crest along with their manufacturing partner Nelskamp attended the new site in Hornsea, East Yorkshire, where the Crest team met with the site's management, roofing contractors and electrical teams.

The Folly is Ward Homes Yorkshire’s next development comprising 60 new energy-efficient homes each benefiting from Crest Nelskamp Planum Concrete Roof Tiles and Integrated Solar System.

The Planum PV solar roof energy system fits seamlessly with Crest’s concrete flat roof tiles and interlocks perfectly and is virtually invisible with subtle attractive looks.

The developers constructed a temporary roof for the training which allowed the Nelskamp technical team to show the quick and simple installation of the Solar Panels and how the “Plugin” easy-to-fix MC4 connections are fitted.

The aesthetic energy system is an exciting new addition to Ward Homes Yorkshire’s future in building sustainable homes and the Crest team is committed to supporting them in this exciting project.
