Burnholme Green
The City of York Council’s first-ever zero-carbon homes at the Burnholme development in York. Burnholme Green brings together 78 high-quality new homes alongside custom-built plots, all arranged around generous green spaces designed to support healthy, sustainable lifestyles.

The development offers a mix of 1 to 4-bedroom homes, including some fully accessible properties and multi-generational homes, ideal for families who want to live, grow and support each other in one place.

The Byland Mixture and York Red were the chosen bricks for this low-carbon project. Byland Mixture is a mix of pale brown, pinky reds and buffs, almost pastel shades in appearance, seamlessly integrating perfectly with the various design elements, creating a unique and modern look throughout the development.
